This book consists of letters I wish I had received when I was a new pastor’s wife. They are the words, wisdom, short stories, and lessons learned on-the-job and on my knees. Although written expressly for pastors’ wives, these letters also hold great benefit for all women of faith.
I am both humbled and honored to have had the late Dr. Lois I. Evans write the foreword. In it she tells how we met and shared a 20 year friendship. Just days after Lois’ death I received the following text message: “Thinking of you today. I wanted you to know that the morning my mom passed away in her bed, there was one book on her nightstand. Yours.
Thank you for including her in your ministry. The words she wrote for your foreword were some of the last she would ever put on paper.
We are grateful…” Priscilla Shirer
Truth is, I thank Lois for including me in her ministry and so graciously agreeing to be a part of Letters to Pastors’ Wives.
