Wives In Touch

Meredith Sheppard is the wife of Paul Sheppard, senior pastor of Destiny Christian Fellowship in northern California. They married May 1, 1982 and are the proud parents of two adult children, Alicia and Aaron, and a black lab named Zoey.  

Described by family and friends as thoughtful, funny, encouraging, and loving, Meredith is passionate about providing practical support and heartfelt understanding for pastors’ wives and women in the body of Christ.  

Meredith’s ability to understand and personalize Scripture is a gift to all who enjoy her speaking and writing. Her wisdom, warmth and candid communication style creates trust and openness wherever she ministers.

As a pastor’s wife for over 40 years, Meredith has a keen understanding of the unique challenges faced by ministry wives. Her desire to connect with fellow pastors’ wives is rooted in her belief that we are stronger as a sisterhood and need each other’s camaraderie and support. 

Through Wives In Touch, she shares both her life experiences and solid biblical hope for women in the trenches of serving the body of Christ. 

In addition to WIT, Meredith served on the Advisory Board of the First Lady Conference hosted by the late Dr. Lois Evans, the Urban Alternative of Dallas, Texas (2000 – 2011), and on the advisory team of the Global Pastors’ Wives Network (GPWN).

A true lover of words, Meredith enjoys reading, journaling, and playing Scrabble.  If any of these can be done while on a cruise, well, that’s even better.
