Wives In Touch

It’s been 10 years since we last talked… and we have so much catching up to do.

Long before Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram I wrote and mailed letters of encouragement to fellow pastors’ wives. This was ‘for real’ mail—addressing and stuffing envelopes, sealing them, affixing postage stamps, and going to the post office. These letters were called Wives In Touch. My heart’s desire was to share openly and honestly about the joys and challenges, trials and triumphs, blessings and burdens we experience as PWs, that we would be encouraged to keep in touch with God and one another. 

For 16 years pastors’ wives throughout the United States and abroad received those letters. Then in 2009, due to a family crisis, everything came to a screeching halt. I will share more details about that season in future posts. But for now I am thrilled to announce that Wives In Touch is back as a blog! 

You can expect to read new and exciting posts along with the same love, encouragement, and prayerful support expressed in the original letters. I am also excited to let you know that those original letters are still around—as a book, Letters to Pastors’ Wives. More details to follow…
